Hi, I’m Ahana Kotibhaskar, a 17-year-old Indian national from Dubai, currently living in the UK for the past seven years as a boarding school student at Wycombe Abbey. I’m pursuing A-levels in Economics, Physics, Mathematics, and Geography, which reflect my deep interest in understanding the world through both a scientific and economic lens. This website offers a comprehensive view of my journey, highlighting my academic accomplishments, six internships, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
My passion for social impact and economics has shaped much of my life. As part of Saathi, an initiative that provides sustainable menstrual hygiene solutions, I’ve contributed to improving access to essential products for underserved communities. Additionally, my research on the Pink Tax, supervised by an Oxford PhD in Economics, allowed me to explore the economic implications of gender-based pricing for hygiene products. These experiences have driven my desire to tackle social inequalities through innovative economic policies.
Through my academic and extracurricular endeavors, I aim to create meaningful change and contribute to a more equitable society. I’m excited to continue exploring opportunities that challenge me intellectually and allow me to make a lasting impact.
